33Lock Integration

Integration guide for 33Lock with Teebly

Overview

Connect Teebly to 33Lock to enable automated access control for your indoor golf facility. 33Lock specializes in technologically advanced smart lock solutions designed for hospitality and multifamily properties, offering keyless access, contactless entry, and real-time monitoring to enhance security and operational efficiency.

Prerequisites

You will need the following before starting the integration:

  • A TTLock account with the mobile app installed on your device
  • One or more supported 33Lock devices
  • A compatible TTLock Gateway (required for remote access)
  • Teebly account with administrator access

Note: All 33Lock devices require a TTLock Gateway for remote access functionality.

Prepare Your 33Lock Devices

Follow these steps to set up your 33Lock devices for integration with Teebly:

  1. Download the TTLock App
Download the TTLock app for iOS or Android.

  2. Create a TTLock Account
Create an account in the TTLock app. For detailed instructions, see the 33Lock Account Registration guide.

  3. Install Your 33Lock Device
Install your 33Lock device according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  4. Add Your Device to TTLock
Add your 33Lock device to the TTLock app. For detailed instructions, see the 33Lock Lock Management guide.

  5. Set Up the TTLock Gateway

  6. Enable Remote Unlock
In the TTLock app, go to your lock settings and enable the Remote Unlock feature.

Important: The Remote Unlock feature must be enabled for Teebly to control your device. If this feature is disabled, your device will not work with Teebly.

  7. Transfer Ownership (If Applicable)
If an installer has set up your 33Lock device and needs to transfer ownership to you, refer to the following 33Lock guides:

Connect Your Devices to Teebly

Once your 33Lock devices are properly configured in the TTLock app, you can connect them to Teebly.

  1. Log into the Teebly Dashboard
  2. Navigate to Operations > Access Control
  3. Click Add devices
  4. Select TTLock from the list of available access control providers
  5. Enter your TTLock credentials
  6. Select the device you want to be accessible to your customers during their bookings

Testing Your Integration

This will send a live unlock command to the selected TTLock device. Ensure that it is safe to do so before proceeding.

After connecting your devices in Teebly, test that the unlock functionality works as expected:

  1. Navigate to Operations > Access Control
  2. Click the Test active device button

If the test is successful and your device unlocks, your integration is complete! Your customers will now be able to access your facility during their bookings.

Auto-Lock: Teebly will attempt to lock the door automatically after sending an unlock request if the device supports it. However, we strongly recommend configuring auto-lock settings on the device for improved reliability.

Monitoring Access Requests

Teebly logs all access requests for monitoring and troubleshooting purposes. You can find access requests for the last 30 days by navigating to Operations > Door Access Logs.

Logs are also accessible within individual booking details and are not limited to the last 30 days.

Note: All requests with a "Granted" status indicate that Teebly authorized the request and sent an unlock command to the door reader.

This does not guarantee that the device has received or successfully processed the unlock command. Factors such as network connectivity, device functionality, or physical obstructions at the door may prevent the door from unlocking.

Troubleshooting

Device Not Appearing in Connection Flow

If your device doesn't appear when connecting to Teebly:

  • Verify the device is added to your TTLock account
  • Confirm the TTLock Gateway is properly set up and connected
  • Check the gateway-to-lock connection strength in the TTLock app
  • Ensure the device is showing as online in the TTLock app

Remote Unlock Not Working

If the remote unlock feature isn't working:

  • Verify that Remote Unlock is enabled in the TTLock app lock settings
  • Check that the TTLock Gateway is online and has a stable internet connection
  • Confirm the gateway-to-lock connection strength is adequate
  • Restart the TTLock Gateway if necessary

Connection Fails During Setup

If you encounter connection errors:

  • Verify your TTLock credentials are correct
  • Ensure you're using the account that owns the locks (not an administrator account)
  • Check that you have an active internet connection
  • Try logging out and back into the TTLock app

Device Won't Unlock

If the test unlock command fails:

  • Verify the device is online in the TTLock app
  • Check that the Remote Unlock feature is enabled
  • Ensure the TTLock Gateway has power and internet connectivity
  • Verify the device batteries are not low
  • Check the gateway-to-lock signal strength
