TTLock Smart Locks

Connect Teebly to TTLock to enable automated access control

Overview

Established in 2012 and headquartered in Hangzhou, China, TTLock is a global leader in smart lock technology with presence in over 80 countries. Specializing in intelligent lock systems that integrate advanced IoT technology, TTLock produces both hardware and software solutions, with many manufacturers utilizing TTLock's platform to create their own smart lock products. TTLock devices managed via the TTLock app and connected to a TTLock Gateway are compatible with Teebly. With Teebly's integration, you can easily manage your TTLock devices and provide automated access to your customers.

Prerequisites

Important Requirements

Before connecting TTLock to Teebly, ensure you have:

  • A TTLock account where you are the top administrator (sub-accounts cannot connect)
  • Install the TTLock mobile app (iOS / Android)
  • TTLock Gateway paired with each lock (required for remote access)
  • Remote Unlock feature enabled in the TTLock app for each lock
  • Stable Wi-Fi connection for the gateway
  • Power-saving mode disabled on Wi-Fi lock models

Prepare Your TTLock Account

Before connecting to Teebly, complete these setup steps in your TTLock account:

1. Set up the TTLock mobile app

Download the TTLock mobile app and create an account if you don't have one. You must be the top administrator for each lock you want to connect - sub-accounts cannot be used to connect locks to Teebly.

2. Install and configure your locks

Add all your TTLock locks through the TTLock mobile app following the manufacturer's setup instructions. Ensure each lock is properly installed and functioning with the app.

3. Pair locks with TTLock Gateway

Each lock must be paired with a TTLock Gateway for remote access. Follow the in-app pairing process to connect each lock to a gateway. Verify the gateway has a stable internet connection.

4. Enable Remote Unlock feature

This is a critical step. In the TTLock app, go to each lock's settings and enable the Remote Unlock feature. This must be enabled for Teebly to control the lock remotely. If this feature is disabled, the lock cannot be unlocked remotely.

5. Disable power-saving mode (Wi-Fi models)

If you have TTLock Wi-Fi lock models, ensure power-saving mode is disabled. Locks in power-saving mode cannot be controlled remotely. Check each lock's settings in the TTLock app and turn off power-saving mode if enabled.

6. Test lock operation

Use the TTLock mobile app to lock and unlock each device remotely to verify the gateway connection and Remote Unlock feature are working correctly before connecting to Teebly.

7. Record your administrator credentials

Note your TTLock app email and password for the top administrator account. You'll need these credentials to connect your TTLock account to Teebly.

Connect Your Devices to Teebly

Once your TTLock account is properly configured, you can connect them to Teebly:

  1. Log into the Teebly Dashboard
  2. Navigate to Operations > Access Control
  3. Click Add devices
  4. Select TTLock from the list of available access control providers
  5. Enter your TTLock top administrator credentials
  6. Select the TTLock lock device you want to be accessible to your customers during their bookings

Testing Your Integration

This will send a live unlock command to the selected TTLock device. Ensure that it is safe to do so before proceeding.

After connecting your devices in Teebly, test that the unlock functionality works as expected:

  1. Navigate to Operations > Access Control
  2. Click the Test active device button

If the test is successful and your device unlocks, your integration is complete! Your customers will now be able to access your facility during their bookings.

Monitoring Access Requests

Teebly logs all access requests for monitoring and troubleshooting purposes. You can find access requests for the last 30 days by navigating to Operations > Door Access Logs.

Logs are also accessible within individual booking details and are not limited to the last 30 days.

Note: All requests with a "Granted" status indicate that Teebly authorized the request and sent an unlock command to the door reader.

This does not guarantee that the device has received or successfully processed the unlock command. Factors such as network connectivity, device functionality, or physical obstructions at the door may prevent the door from unlocking.

Troubleshooting

Locks Don't Appear

  • Confirm you're using the top administrator account credentials (sub-accounts cannot connect)
  • Verify each lock shows a paired gateway in the TTLock mobile app
  • Ensure gateways are powered on and connected to Wi-Fi

Lock Not Paired to Gateway

  • Install the TTLock Gateway and connect it to your Wi-Fi network
  • Pair each lock to the gateway through the TTLock mobile app
  • Verify the gateway has a stable internet connection

Gateway Unlocking Not Enabled

  • Open the TTLock mobile app and go to each lock's settings
  • Find and enable the Remote Unlock feature
  • This must be enabled for remote lock control through Teebly

Lock Won't Unlock

  • For Wi-Fi models: Disable power-saving mode in the TTLock app
  • Verify Remote Unlock feature is enabled in lock settings
  • Check that the gateway is online and within range of the lock

Connection Fails During Setup

  • Double-check your TTLock top administrator email and password
  • Confirm you're using a top administrator account, not a sub-account
  • Try logging in to the TTLock mobile app to verify credentials

Lock Status Not Updating

  • Verify the TTLock Gateway is powered on and online
